Job Description

  • Supports healthy relationship between employees, management and trade unions within the Premier Group
  • Assist with handling workplace grievances, disputes, and disciplinary processes in line with the Premier Group policies.
  • Support the business with compliance with employment legislation i.e. Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
  • Assist the HR Team with preparing documentation for disciplinary hearing, consultations and other labour related forums.
  • Support Collective bargaining processes, i.e. wage negotiations

Programme Information

  • This is a 12-month graduate programme based at our corporate office, working across the regions reporting to the Manager: Group Employee Relations
  • Will at times support the national Human Resources structure in rolling out of specific projects / tasks.
  • May be required to travel to sites for exposure to all business units
  • Driver’s license (advantageous)

Qualification Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Completed a Diploma/ Degree in: Human Resource/ Labour Relations Management

Experience Requirements

  • No formal work experience is required.
