SUMMARY

Area Manager X2 - Sales & Marketing

POSITION INFO

Purpose of the position

Ensure effective sales and merchandising services are rendered to the Clients, through the effective Management of merchandising teams while optimising on growth of market share within each retail group and minimizing of overall waste

Preferred Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Business degree or diploma
• Short course diploma’s in FMCG industry
• Management/Supervisory Training
• 5 Years sales experience in a FMCG (sales and marketing role)
• 2 Years plus Management/Supervisory experience FMCG environment (sales management role)

Knowledge

• Knowledge of and Insight into principles of sales and marketing (specific FMCG/retail)
• Knowledge of Point of purchase/service standards and practices required by retail groups for Perishable products
• Understanding of/insight into FMCG retail trade trends in SA (specific Dairy)
• Administration and management

Skills

• Ability to market ideas and identify new markets.
• Ability to identify competitors and gaps
