POSITION INFO

A growing organization within the ICT and telecommunications industry, based in Johannesburg, is seeking a driven and ambitious Chartered Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers exposure to a technology‑driven environment, where you’ll contribute to strategic decision‑making, financial reporting, and operational performance in a fast‑paced business.

You’ll gain valuable commercial exposure early in your career while working alongside experienced professionals in a high‑growth space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
• Partner with operational teams to support business objectives

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Newly qualified CA(SA) (essential)
• Strong academic track record
• Articles completed at a reputable firm (Big 4 or mid‑tier advantageous)
• Exposure to ICT, telecommunications, or commercial clients beneficial
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ambitious, driven, and eager to grow in a commercial environment
