SUMMARY
Recruiting an Artisan Millwright in the steel manufacturing sector to join their maintenance team.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery.
- Conduct planned and breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain equipment to OEM standards.
- Complete maintenance job cards and reports.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
- Assist with machine upgrades and maintenance projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Qualified Millwright Trade Test.
- Minimum 3 years post-trade experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
Advantageous Experience
- Metal processing or manufacturing environment.
- Overhead cranes, slitters, blanking presses, and blanking lines.
- Computer literacy.
