SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Product Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, prototyping, and improvement of mechanical products and systems, from concept through to manufacturing.

POSITION INFO

This role is ideal for an innovative Engineer with strong CAD skills, a passion for problem-solving, and experience in developing manufacturable products. Experience in CAD, DFM, GD&T, prototyping, and full product lifecycle development will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Generate detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and BOMs.
• Participate in concept development, feasibility studies, and prototype testing.
• Perform engineering calculations and basic FEA analysis.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality departments.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and product validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
• Drive the continuous improvement of existing products and processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• BEng / BTech / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, NX, or similar CAD software.
• Good understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with sheet metal, machining, fabrication, or injection moulding advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
