POSITION INFO

A leading engineering solutions company is looking for an experienced Africa Sales Engineer to manage and expand technical sales operations across Central Africa and the SADC region. The role focuses on developing strategic customer relationships, growing market share, managing complex sales processes, and delivering tailored technical solutions within mining and petrochemical environments. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders at all levels while driving profitability and long-term business growth across Africa.

Education

• National Diploma or Degree in a Technical, Engineering, Sales or Marketing discipline
• Postgraduate qualification advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 8 years’ technical sales experience within mining or petrochemical industries
• Proven Africa sales experience essential
• Fluency in French and English required
• Strong electro-mechanical technical understanding
• Experience compiling complex commercial and technical proposals
• Strong B2B sales and key account management experience
• Experience with fuel management systems advantageous
• Ability to manage long-cycle technical sales processes
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Africa
