SUMMARY

My client is looking for a UAT Specialist who enjoys working close to the code without being a developer.

This role suits someone who loves understanding how systems integrate, how data flows, and why things break.

You’ll test real‑world platforms used at scale, where your work directly impacts production systems.

POSITION INFO

My client operates in a complex, high‑transaction technology environment and is seeking a hands‑on UAT Specialist to join an Agile delivery team.

This role sits at the intersection of business, QA, and technology. You’ll take ownership of UAT planning and execution, working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure features are production‑ready.

A strong focus of this role is API‑driven systems. You’ll validate system‑to‑system integrations, confirm data integrity across platforms, and ensure business rules are correctly implemented from backend services through to the UI.

This is not a box‑ticking testing role. It’s a role for someone who enjoys understanding how things work under the hood and wants real ownership over quality in live, high‑volume systems.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a UAT or software testing environment
• Strong experience testing API‑based systems (REST / service integrations)
• Ability to validate system‑to‑system interactions and data accuracy across platforms
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases linked to user stories and business rules
• Confident defect logging and tracking using tools such as Jira, Quality Center or similar
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments (Waterfall exposure beneficial)
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Comfortable working with technical and non‑technical stakeholder

Qualification

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• ISTQB / Certified Test Analyst (advantageous, not mandatory)
