We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in South Africa. As a Lead Accountant, you will play a crucial role in setting up & managing Accounts for Excellent SA covering general accounting, bookkeeping, tax, expenses, payroll & audit.

Responsibilities

Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
Prepare tax documents
Compile and analyze financial statements
Manage budgeting and forecasting for SA entity
General book keeping
Opportunity to work on Regional / Global expansion projects / initiatives
Africa experience will be an advantage
Proficiency in written and spoken English is required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Chartered Accounting status or nearly qualified
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong stakeholder relationship management
Previous experience with accounting for Securities Trading, Investments, Asset management or Financial Services is preferred
