Emeris Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a Part time Lecturer within the Faculty of Humanities for the following module:

  • First Additional Language Afrikaans (FAFR5111)

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Education degree or PGCE that includes the language to be lectured.
  • The undergraduate qualification must include the language as a major up to third-year level, or the PGCE (NQF 7) must include the language as a didactic subject.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements

  • Lecturing or teaching experience in the language to be lectured.

Working Conditions

  • Please note that this is a Part-time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00.
  • Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
