Driver (Packaged Distribution)

Overview

The person will be required to drive, deliver products/raw materials within the plant and outside the plant.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Code 14 driver’s license with Dangerous Goods Permit

Experience

• 3 years demonstrated experience in truck/tractor driving
• 1 year demonstrated experience in a production environment
• 1 year demonstrated experience in an Explosives environment

Duties

• To drive, deliver products/raw materials within the plant and outside the plant
• To perform Packaged distribution Assistant duties as and when required
• Ensure that all the regulatory and legislative requirements within the department/remit thus ensuring effective management of SHERQ and adherence to stipulated disciplines for continuous improvement of occupational Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality that impact on any organization.
