SUMMARY

Puno Harvest Builders, a dynamic construction company in Gauteng, is looking for a skilled Concrete Foreman to join our team on major road construction project that includes stormwater, sewer, and water pipeline works.

POSITION INFO

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum trade qualification with at least 5 years’ proven experience in supervising reinforced concrete works on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Reinforced concrete structures
• Formwork and shuttering
• Reinforcement fixing
• Concrete placing, vibration, finishing, and curing
• Concrete quality control and cube testing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and bending schedules
• Experience supervising labourers and subcontractors on site
• Sound understanding of construction health and safety requirements related to concrete works

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervision of all reinforced concrete works including:
• Valve chambers
• Thrust blocks
• Foundations
• Slabs
• Columns and beams
• Other building concrete works
• Ensure concrete works comply with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate concrete pours, reinforcement inspections, shuttering, and curing activities
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, material usage, and site housekeeping
• Maintain safe working procedures during all concrete operations
