Job Purpose

To support the Trade Marketing team in executing brand and category strategies across retail and on-trade channels, ensuring strong in-store presence, effective promotional execution, and alignment with sales objectives.

1. Trade Marketing Execution

  • Assist in the implementation of trade marketing plans aligned with brand and sales strategies
  • Ensure timely delivery of point-of-sale (POS) materials

2. Promotions & Campaign Support

  • Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns across key accounts
  • Track and monitor promotion performance (sell-in and sell-out)
  • Help evaluate ROI and provide post-promotion analysis

3. Retail & In-Store Excellence

  • Monitor product visibility, merchandising standards, and compliance in-store
  • Conduct store visits to get ideas on executional items and competitions

4. Data & Reporting

  • Compile and analyse sales data and market trends
  • Prepare regular reports on trade activity performance
  • Maintain databases related to promotions, pricing, and competitor activity

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Brand Marketing and Events teams
  • Liaise with external agencies, printers, and suppliers for campaign materials
  • Support key account managers with trade-related presentations and materials

6. Budget & Admin Support

  • Assist in tracking trade marketing budgets and spend
  • Manage purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentation
  • Ensure all trade activities are delivered within budget and timeline

  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
  • Analytical mindset with good Excel/data skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of retail and on-trade environments

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 1–2 years’ experience in marketing, sales, or FMCG industry
  • Experience with trade marketing activities is advantageous

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Successful execution of promotions on time and within budget
  • Improvement in in-store/outlet visibility and compliance
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting
  • Contribution to sales growth during campaigns
