Join a Growing Construction Group with Immediate Earning Potential

Our group of companies, including Boucon, Bou Coatings, and PWSCO, is looking for an experienced and driven Construction Estimator who can manage estimating and BOQ preparation across multiple divisions while also assisting with client engagement and project acquisition.

This is a commission-based opportunity ideal for an estimator with strong construction knowledge who wants unlimited earning potential and access to active projects already requiring quotations and costings.

Unlike traditional commission-only roles where you are expected to generate all your own opportunities, this position offers a unique combination of existing project opportunities and new business development. We already have a steady pipeline of construction, renovation, and coating projects requiring estimating and pricing, providing immediate earning potential from awarded work. In addition, you will have the opportunity to grow your income further by developing new client relationships and securing additional projects across our group of companies. This creates multiple revenue streams and the ability to build a sustainable, long-term commission-based income.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate BOQs, tenders, quotations, and project estimates for construction, renovation, maintenance, and coating projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits where required to assess project scope and costing requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing.
• Assist in securing new business opportunities and maintaining client relationships.
• Represent Bou Coatings and associated group companies in meetings and project discussions.
• Track submitted quotations and follow up on awarded projects.
• Work closely with management to maximise project profitability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ compilation, costing, and tender preparation.
• Experience within construction, renovations, painting/coatings, or related industries.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Own vehicle and valid driver's licence Essential.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
