A well-established business is seeking a newly qualified or recently qualified Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate who has completed SAICA articles and is looking to build strong commercial experience within a structured and supportive environment.

Duties

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare VAT and statutory submissions
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Provide financial reporting support to management

Qualifications & Skills

• BCom Accounting (required)
• Completed SAICA articles (required)
• 1+ year post-articles experience in a commercial environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadline
