Trade Tested Electrician (3-Month Contract) – West Rand

Location: West Rand, Gauteng

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Rate: R175 per Hour

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Trade Tested Electrician for a 3-month contract based on the West Rand. This opportunity is ideal for electricians with a strong background in the Food, Beverage, and Utilities industries.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Trade Tested Electrician
• South African Citizen
• Valid South African ID
• Valid Driver's License
• Clear Criminal Record
• Must have previous experience within:
• Food Manufacturing
• Beverage Manufacturing
• Utilities / Industrial Processing Environments
• Strong fault-finding, maintenance, and installation experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Must be available to commence duties within 2 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on production and utility equipment
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures
• Diagnoses and resolve electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems
• Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately
