SUMMARY

An established business in the travel industry is looking for a Product & Contracting Executive with relevant experience to join them in their Johannesburg offices.

POSITION INFO

Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria:

• 4+ years’ experience in the leisure travel industry
• Proven ability to source, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts (hotels, transport, and travel services)
• Actual product and contracting experience is a required minimum
• Strong focus on building and maintaining supplier relationships
• Ability to ensure competitive pricing, availability, and product quality
• Solid background in travel product, contracting, or procurement
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Commercially minded with good analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Assertive, able to push back when necessary and hold firm with suppliers/peers
• Results-driven mindset with proficiency in travel systems and MS Office

The s uccessful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Monitoring of market trends and competitor activity
• Supporting product development and destination expansion
• Ensuring all contracts and rates are accurately maintained in the system
