POSITION INFO
A global leader in industrial gear and power transmission solutions is looking for an experienced
Sales Engineer to grow business within key industrial sectors.
This is a specialist role for a candidate who understands industrial gearboxes, power transmission equipment, and rotating machinery. If you're looking to break into the industry, this role is not for you.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Proven experience selling industrial gearboxes, geared motors, or power transmission equipment
- Strong technical sales background within heavy industry
- Ability to engage with engineers, maintenance managers, and plant management
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing business
- Relevant technical qualification and industry experience required
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Develop and grow business within mining, metals, cement, power generation, materials handling, manufacturing, and heavy industrial sectors
- Identify gearbox replacement, upgrade, maintenance, and project opportunities
- Manage strategic customer relationships and key accounts
- Conduct technical sales presentations and site visits
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial submissions
- Work closely with engineering and service teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
Exposure to industrial gearboxes, power transmission systems, conveyors, crushers, mills, hoists, kilns, or rotating equipment is essential.
