POSITION INFO

This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and contributing to the success of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Manage VAT calculations and statutory submissions
• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, accounting standards, and company policies
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting efficiencies

Education

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience
• Strong exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes
• Previous experience within Fintech, Financial Services, Payments, or a technology-driven environment will be advantageous

Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP and cloud-based accounting systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
