Demand Planner

Job Description,

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our demand planning team within our Supply Chain department. The purpose of this role is to create realistic demand forecasts by product category to enable the supply chain planning process to function optimally in collaboration with customers, sales and operational teams

Requirements,

Required Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years experience in a demand planning position
• 3 - 5 years experience in a manufacturing, or FMCG environment (advantageous)
• SAP and other planning tools experience (advantageous)
• Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
• Able to collaborate across multiple teams

Duties and Responsibilities,

Job Specification

• Provide support in the demand planning and management process for new and existing products.
• Develop product demand plans
• Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customers reactions to promotions.
• Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.
• Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply.
• Condition historical sales data to improve accuracy of forecasts.
• Provide support of the demand planning model, its stability and accuracy.
• Ensure all material forecasts are accurately reviewed, maintained and extended on a monthly basis.
• Maintain demand planning processes to improve forecasting accuracy
• Provide support into annual budget planning process
• Collaborate closely with all internal and external stakeholders
