Electrical Sales Engineer to join their team and expand their footprint within the mining industry.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a technically minded sales professional to combine engineering expertise with business development, client engagement, and strategic account management.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and promoting innovative electrical solutions to mining customers across Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mining houses, EPCM consultants, contractors, and end-users.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining sector.
- Promote and sell electrical products, systems, and engineering solutions.
- Conduct client visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site meetings.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Review client specifications and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM records.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in technical sales within the mining or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of mining electrical systems and equipment.
- Proven ability to develop business and build long-term client relationships.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, tender documents, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
