Clover is looking for a Analyst: Demand Planning to create a realistic demand forecasts by category to enable the supply chain planning process to function optimally and to provide consolidated information to commercial department for company forecasting. Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping/distribution dates according to sales forecasts.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree ( Supply Chain Management/ Data Science )
Business English: Fluent
Code 08 Driver's License
Travel off-site/Overnight Stay
Computer Literacy (Intermediate)
Working with Senior Management
Strong Analytical Skills
Effective Communication Skills

Duties and Responsibilities

Categorise products

Categorise products to determine synergies and reaction to external conditions (Variables)
Determine disaggregate and aggregate levels and factors

Classify events

Identify and mark all events with impact on volume/price/daily operation
Group and classification of events by finding similarities between events
Set parameters and guidelines for Demand planners to apply in forecasting

Determine statistical forecast methods to be used

Determine the Monthly, weekly and daily methods to be used
Analyse different forecast errors per method and set parameters to measure accuracy of statistical method used
Improve methods and errors on an ongoing basis
Improve forecasting process in terms of data cleansing for budget, Monthly, weekly & daily forecast

Compile, update, refresh and distribute reports

Compile performance graphs
Distribute weekly gap analysis between Actual vs. Budget, Volume & MOM by customer by product category
Compile management reports
Distribute weekly short supply analysis
Create reporting & automated system alerts to proactively identify forecast exceptions

Identify and analyse outliers

Determine outlier band per product category/product/group per time series
Identify per time series your outliers
Determine the cause of the outliers
Assis in the creation of best in class processes to improve forecast accuracy
Analyse Shortsupplies and set parameters for improvement
