Our client in the Automotive Industry is seeking an experienced

Warehouse Assistant with a strong background in automotive and parts warehouse environments. The successful candidate will have experience in inventory control, receiving and dispatching stock, and maintaining accurate warehouse records while ensuring high levels of accuracy and compliance. Based in Johannesburg - Isando

POSITION INFO

This role is responsible for all Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory Control activities, including

Data Dotting of parts to ensure complete traceability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming parts against packing lists and purchase orders captured in the business system.
  • Perform Data Dotting and maintain full traceability of all serialized parts.
  • Accurately bin, pick, and pack stock in accordance with system requirements and dispatch schedules.
  • Complete Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) within 24 hours of receiving stock.
  • Assist with cycle counts, stock takes, and stock variance investigations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment in line with 5S and Health & Safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts (where licensed) and assist with vehicle loading and unloading activities.
  • Capture and process all warehouse transactions accurately within the system.
  • Conduct branch, dealer, and supplier collections and deliveries as required.
  • Participate in parts standby duties during weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ warehouse experience, preferably within an automotive or parts environment.
  • Valid forklift licence (advantageous).
