Company and Job Description

This role sits within a Finance and Risk team in a commercially focused environment, where managing credit exposure is key. You will support

IFRS 9 compliance, contribute to ECL modelling, and provide analysis to guide strategic decision-making.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities

• Support IFRS 9 impairment modelling and ECL calculations
• Perform stage classification (Stage 1–3) and monitor risk drivers
• Analyse credit portfolios, identifying trends and risk insights
• Assist in improving credit policies, scorecards, and frameworks
• Prepare credit risk reporting for key stakeholders
• Work with large datasets using Excel, SQL, or BI tool

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Newly qualified CA(SA) or equivalent (CFA advantageous)
• 2 years’ experience, with IFRS 9 exposure advantageous
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Advanced Excel, with SQL/Power BI/Python beneficial
