Your role

Responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end logistics (Import & Export) and fleet lifecycle for vehicles and parts across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and the Middle East (MENA LOGISTICS/SHIPPING). This includes import/export logistics (air & sea freight), customs compliance, fleet administration, supplier management, SAP processing, and cross-functional coordination with Aftersales, Finance, Operations, Commercial and Shipping teams. Focused on accuracy, compliance, dealer delivery timelines, and internal control standards.

This position is open to candidates based in Dubai or Cape Town.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Supports with the creation, deployment, and on-going management of key operational processes, such as planning, tracking and reporting on our sales and logistics progress vs objectives.
  • Operates and provides regular reporting and expertise on the process of distributing, shipping, exporting and importing of vehicles and parts in a timely and cost-efficient manner – including the importation process in South Africa and SADC countries.
  • Raises PR’s for internal approval and PO creation for our service providers – ensures on or below budget spend, in liaison with Finance and Regional team. A key SAP user.
  • Liaise with INEOS Kavango team to ensure all inbound and outbound logistic expectations and deliverables are coordinated
  • Coordinate INEOS Fleet vehicle loans to Business Partners, Dealers, and externals such as Press and Marketing contacts – ensure tracked process of handover and hand back of vehicles within agreed and approved time frames, noting any damage and wear and tear requirements. Coordinate maintenance of the fleet
  • Engage with external logistics and fleet service providers to ensure any and all elements of Logistics and Fleet coordination are delivered
  • Liaise directly with our Dealer/Distributor partners to ensure tracking, reporting and execution of their inbound and out bound shipping requirements – as a support to the Sales Ops Lead and RBMs
  • External Partners can include (not exhaustive): DSV, DHL, Customs & Excise, Transnet Ports, Neovia Logistics, Dealers, African Transit, Mekaish, Cancom, WWS, Shipping Lines, Airlines, Middle East partners and GSO authorities
  • VAT refunds, export / import clearances and operating all vehicle movements related to our distribution models

What we are looking for

  • Diploma/Vocational Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Business Psychology, or successfully completed apprenticeship and work experience in relevant field
  • 5 years of working experience – ideally in a similar automotive or international export / import distribution/ logistics role
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Advanced Excel, PPT and Word skills
  • Effective organizational/project management abilities
  • Interested in doing something new, being part of an adventure and advocating own ideas
  • A pro-active self-starter, working in a fast-paced environment with a great team – being a positive person and willing to go the extra mile
  • Open to travel as and when required
