This role is ideal for a technically minded sales professional who thrives in a competitive environment and enjoys delivering tailored solutions to clients. You will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining key accounts, and providing expert product advice across various industries, including mining, manufacturing, and water treatment.

Education

• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field (advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a sales role within industrial pumps, valves, or related mechanical equipment
• Strong understanding of pump applications, systems, and fluid transfer solutions
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to identify client needs and propose effective technical solutions
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
• Excellent client relationship management and communication abilities
• Experience compiling quotations, tenders, and technical proposals
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
