POSITION INFO

A leading provider of fuel management and industrial automation solutions is looking for an experienced

Sales Engineer to drive growth across the South African market.

This is a specialist role requiring a proven track record selling into the mining sector, with specific exposure to fuel management systems, instrumentation, or related industrial technologies.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Minimum 6 years' technical sales experience
Proven sales experience within the mining industry
Experience with fuel management systems (essential)
Strong business development and key account management skills
Relevant Engineering, Technical, or Commercial qualification
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationally

Job Experience & Skills Required

National Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Technical, Sales, or a related field
Develop and grow fuel management system sales across South Africa
Build relationships with mine management, engineering teams, and decision-makers
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Prepare technical and commercial proposals
Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and customer engagement activities
Grow market share while maintaining strong customer relationships

Exposure to instrumentation, industrial automation, telemetry, fleet management, or mining technology solutions will be highly advantageous.
