An exciting opportunity exists for an Actuarial Data Scientist / Implementation Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery of advanced actuarial and analytics solutions. Our client is looking for an individual who can bridge the gap between technical implementation, data science, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the deployment and enhancement of actuarial and analytical systems
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Design and optimise data processes, workflows, and reporting structures
• Perform data validation, testing, and quality assurance activities
• Support project delivery through effective planning and execution
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and innovation
• Assist with user support, training, and documentation

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience working within data analytics, actuarial, or technology-focused environments
• Proficiency in SQL and exposure to modern programming languages such as Python or R
• Strong understanding of data structures and database concepts
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
