Pharmacy Manager

A leading private healthcare facility in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee and manage all pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support high standards of pharmaceutical care. This role is ideal for a strong leader with extensive hospital pharmacy experience.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), a Diploma in Pharmacy (Dip.Pharm), or a BSc Pharmacy qualification.
• Current registration with SAPC.
• Relevant clinical knowledge and practical experience, aligned to key pharmacy responsibilities.
• A strong understanding of the South Africa healthcare industry, including pharmacy related stakeholders and role players.
• Sound knowledge of hospital operating structures and interdepartmental relationships.
• Up to date pharmaceutical product knowledge, including relevant pharmaceutical legislation and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with proven people management experience.
• Basic financial management skills, with strong numerical aptitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
