They are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead production operations, drive efficiency, maintain quality standards, and foster a strong food safety culture across the facility. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, quality output, and achievement of production targets.
• Lead and develop production teams, manage shift operations, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health and safety standards while managing maintenance schedules, SOP development, supplier performance, and capital expenditure requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Production Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Production Management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry is highly advantageous.
• Working knowledge of HACCP and FSSC food safety systems.
• Proven experience managing production teams and shift operations.
• Strong maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience managing operational budgets and production efficiency initiatives.
• Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Based in Durban or willing to relocate.
