Millwright

Our client, a well-established manufacturing operation, is seeking a qualified and experienced Millwright to join their technical team based in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal plant performance and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities include preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery, fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems, installation and commissioning of equipment, adherence to safety standards, and accurate maintenance reporting. The role requires close collaboration with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient operations.

Must have a Trade Test as a Millwright, with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong fault-finding skills, PLC exposure, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required is expected.
