IT Production Manager (Agile Essential)

Our client , a dynamic software studio is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team. If you’re a natural organiser who thrives at the intersection of tech and delivery, this could be your next move.

As Production Manager, you’ll be the engine behind consistent, on-time software delivery. Working closely with the Operations Manager, Account Management, and Development teams, you’ll own the end-to-end production process — from sprint planning through to release and sign-off. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can zoom out to see the big picture while staying sharp on the detail.

Responsibilities include

• Managing production schedules and sprint delivery across one-week cycles
• Coordinating dependencies across development, QA, DevOps, and product teams
• Driving Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices across the studio
• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing smarter ways of working
• Owning quality assurance, risk mitigation, and incident response processes
• Acting as the key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Tracking KPIs and using data to continuously improve delivery performance
• Running daily status meetings and keeping all parties aligned

Requirements (must have)

• 5+ years of experience in a production, project, or delivery management role (software environment preferred)
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologie s and software development lifecycles
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team coordination skills
• Excellent communicator — equally comfortable with developers and clients
• Analytical, data-driven, and solutions-focused
• Matric certificate or higher
