About The Role
We are seeking an organized and proactive Contracts Administrator to join a fast-paced engineering and contracts environment in Cape Town. In this role, you will provide critical administrative and coordination support to ensure project workflows run seamlessly and without bottlenecks. Key Responsibilities
- Contract & Project Administration: Maintain up-to-date project files, track milestones, compile progress reports, and coordinate handover data packs.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate site visits, track technician movements, update calendars, and follow up on procurement and deliveries.
- Document Control: Ensure accurate naming conventions, complete quotes and invoices, and maintain an auditable folder structure.
- Client & Team Support: Handle client update communications, follow up on approvals/documentation, and provide general administrative backup to the engineering team.
What You Need to Bring
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) required; a Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration or Office Management is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) with strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The Extras (Advantageous): Prior experience in an engineering/technical environment, basic knowledge of procurement/logistics, or familiarity with Accpac or Xero.
