Our client is a rapidly growing distributor operating within the global padel industry, supplying premium equipment, apparel, accessories, and performance products to clubs, retailers, coaches, and commercial operators. As demand for padel continues to accelerate internationally, they are expanding their commercial team to support growing customer demand and strengthen key client relationships.

The Role: Account Manager
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing existing customer relationships while identifying new commercial opportunities across the market. This role combines account management, sales, business development, and customer success, ensuring customers receive exceptional support while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Working closely with leadership, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, drive repeat business, support new product launches, and contribute to the continued expansion of the company''s customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 2+ years of experience managing customer accounts, driving sales growth, or developing new business opportunities
- Manage and develop relationships with existing club, retail, and commercial accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and ongoing support
- Conduct regular account reviews and business planning meetings
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Prospect, engage, and onboard new clubs, retailers, and strategic partners
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across the industry
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales pipelines
- Produce weekly account and pipeline reports
- Deliver product training and support product demonstrations when required
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support business growth
- Coordinate closely with internal operations and logistics teams
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
About You
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing customer accounts
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
- Highly organised with excellent time management capabilities
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Proactive problem-solver with strong commercial awareness
- Passion for sport and community building
- Active involvement in padel or racquet sports would be highly advantageous
- Experience within sport, sporting goods, retail, wholesale distribution, or related industries would be beneficial
- Experience working with clubs, retailers, or sporting organisations would be advantageous
- Understanding of e-commerce and B2B sales environments would be beneficial
- Clear and professional communication style suited to customer-facing commercial relationships
