About The Role
We're building next-generation AI for aviation and autonomous flight — and we need people who actually understand what's happening on the radio. If you can hear a busy ATC frequency and know exactly what's being said, your expertise is exactly what this project needs.
This is not generic transcription work. It's a specialized, high-impact role for people with real aviation knowledge.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Transcribe real-world Air Traffic Control (ATC) and pilot audio recordings with precision
- Label speakers, callsigns, clearances, readbacks, and responses accurately
- Capture aviation terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology correctly
- Work on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule
- Maintain high accuracy and quality standards throughout your work
Who You Are
- A pilot, student pilot, Air Traffic Controller, or aviation professional
- An aviation enthusiast who regularly tunes in to ATC frequencies
- Someone fluent in aviation radio communications and ICAO/FAA phraseology
- Extremely detail-oriented and patient with audio-based work
- Reliable and self-motivated — you take quality seriously
You don't need to be a professional transcriptionist. But you do need to truly understand aviation communications.
Nice to Have
- Active or former pilot certificate (any category)
- ATC experience or training
- Familiarity with LiveATC, aviation scanners, or radio monitoring
- Experience with audio annotation or transcription tools
