Truck Dealership Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Truck Dealership Development Specialist to lead the growth, performance, and expansion of our truck dealership network. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the commercial vehicle industry and a strong understanding of truck sales, dealership operations, aftersales, and network development.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, enhancing dealer performance, and ensuring dealerships meet business objectives and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dealership growth and expansion strategies.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new truck dealership partners.
- Support and improve dealership sales, aftersales, parts, and service performance.
- Conduct dealership assessments and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
- Monitor dealership KPIs, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals, management teams, and key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on dealership setup, facilities, staffing, and operational best practices.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments within the commercial vehicle sector.
- Support dealer training and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and dealership agreements.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Automotive Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years' experience within the truck or commercial vehicle industry.
- Proven experience in dealership development, dealer network management, truck sales, or commercial vehicle operations.
- Strong understanding of truck dealership business models, aftersales operations, parts management, and customer service.
- Experience working with OEMs, truck manufacturers, or dealer groups will be highly advantageous.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
