The Recipe for Success: Role Summary

To maximise the sales potential and profitability of the store through providing excellent levels of customer care and exceeding Le Creuset customer’s service delivery expectations. This position assists in the smooth running of the store.

Ingredients: Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with their product selection and converting opportunities to achieve store sales targets.
  • Deal with queries and complaints, implementing the most suitable resolution that leaves the consumer satisfied.
  • Actively promote products using company sales techniques, including advising customers on product suitability and their care & use.
  • Process sales transactions quickly and efficiently following the correct till procedures and ensuring the safe and accurate storage of monies.
  • Assist with implementing shop merchandising and layout to maximise sales, customer satisfaction, appearance.
  • Place and follow up orders and special orders.
  • Participate as directed in stocktaking, ensuring that all counts and paperwork are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaise with the store manager with regards to awareness of current and future sales targets.
  • Ensure high levels of product knowledge by reading up on products, attending training courses as directed.
  • Assist as directed in receiving and sorting stock deliveries ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Ensure all health & safety and security procedures are followed according to Company and Centre Management Policy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of working in a retail environment, or within a service role
  • Basic Numeracy and literacy qualifications
  • Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel to Basic skill level
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Selling skills
  • Interest in cooking
  • Able to work retail trading hours (usual retail trading hours are from Monday to Sunday with occasional late evenings and public holidays).
