Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Sage Intacct Consultant, and you will be responsible for leading a variety of implementations, add-ons, and optimization projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design and optimize business processes, develop customized solutions, and integrate third-party applications with existing infrastructure. Your mission will be to successfully deliver and manage Sage Intacct implementation projects within a collaborative team environment, while consistently identifying opportunities to add value and drive business success for our clients.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work remotely with occasional on-site engagements.

What you will be doing

Gap Analysis & Support:

  • Assist in analysing clients' business requirements and understanding their operational needs.
  • Support the documentation of business requirements and proposed solution approaches.
  • Implementation & Troubleshooting
  • Assist in the implementation of Sage Intacct solutions, including basic system configuration and setup.
  • Support troubleshooting of system and implementation-related issues under the guidance of senior consultants.
  • Investigate client queries and research appropriate solutions.

Client Engagement & Training:

  • Attend client meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions to support senior consulting team members.
  • Assist with user training and knowledge transfer to promote effective system adoption.

Post-Go-Live Support:

  • Support clients during and after system go-live to ensure a smooth transition and integration of business processes.
  • Provide ongoing support by addressing user queries and escalating complex issues where required.

Team Contribution & Professional Development:

  • Collaborate effectively within the consulting team to achieve project and business objectives.
  • Share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices with colleagues.
  • Continuously develop Sage Intacct product knowledge and consulting capabilities.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of ERP consulting experience, with a strong focus on Sage Intacct.
  • Experience with other ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage X3) is a plus.
  • Proven experience supporting end users and delivering ERP solutions.
  • Basic understanding of financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Exposure to ERP systems or a strong interest in developing a career within ERP consulting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within a consulting environment.

Advantageous

  • Sage Intacct certification(s).
  • Ability to translate client business requirements into Sage Intacct solutions.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and dashboard creation in Sage Intacct.
  • Previous consulting, support, finance, accounting, or systems implementation experience.
  • Completion of, or progress towards, Sage Intacct certifications or similar ERP certifications.
