SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and plans using Revit software for architectural and/or structural projects. The ideal candidate must have strong Revit experience, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently within project deadlines.

The Draughtsman will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using Revit
• Interpret architectural and engineering sketches and specifications
• Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for construction and design projects
• Amend and update drawings as required by project teams
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and building regulations
• Coordinate drawing information with architects, engineers, and consultants
• Conduct site measurements and inspections when required
• Maintain proper drawing records and document control
• Assist with project planning and design coordination
• Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high levels of accuracy

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as a Draughtsman
• Must be proficient in Revit software
• AutoCAD experience will be advantageous
• Relevant Draughting qualification or certification
• Strong understanding of construction methods and technical drawings
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
