Job Title: Insurance Administrator

Location: Northcliff, Randburg

Salary: R15K – R20K per month (Negotiable based on experience)

About The Role

They are looking for an Insurance Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will provide critical administrative support to keep their brokerage running smoothly. You will handle new client onboarding, process policy changes, and make sure all paperwork is accurate. Your work will directly help their wealth advisors and help them reach their compliance and renewal targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process insurance applications quickly and accurately.
  • Manage policy endorsement and change documents for the clients.
  • Work with major insurance underwriters to coordinate claims registrations.
  • Check and verify that all mandatory compliance forms are complete for every transaction.
  • Update client databases.
  • Resolve client billing and premium payment queries.
  • Write weekly operational status reports for senior management.
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams and external clients.
  • Capture underwriting details accurately on our brokerage software.
  • File sensitive client records securely according to company rules.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Matric / Grade 12 Senior Certificate.
  • Certification: Regulatory Examination 5 (RE5) certificate for Representatives.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of experience working inside an independent insurance brokerage.
  • Knowledge:
    • Good operational experience handling both long-term and short-term insurance portfolios.
    • A strong understanding of the FAIS Act and FICA rules.
