They are seeking an experienced Business Development & Sales Executive to drive new business growth, strengthen client relationships, and expand their market presence within the logistics and road freight sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, site visits, and relationship-building activities within the logistics, transport, and supply chain sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, client functions, and networking opportunities while maintaining a strong sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or qualification in Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years' sales experience within the logistics, transport, road freight, or supply chain industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience dealing with chemicals and associated products.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, road freight services, and supply chain principles.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience using CRM systems advantageous.
