Our dynamic West Rand campus would like to invite for full-time applications for a Student Advisor/Career Consultant vacancy at our campus.
We seek individuals that maximise opportunties for the marketing of educational programmes to a wide base of clients ranging from students to corporations.
The role requires the achievement of sales targets.
Candidates must reside in the West Rand and have their own transport
To have extensive knowledge of the products sold i.e. FT, PT and Corporate Products, ensuring the drop off rate of mismatched students are zero.
To understand the NQF, SETA’s and relevant Educational bodies and the Skills development Act
To utilise all sales tools in achieving sales targets and overall company performance
To resolve queries on the first contact, gathering information and contact details in order to assist back office if query must be referred.
To adhere to all policies and procedures, continuously updating and implementing changes to ensure smooth process flows.
Sales staff to be available at workstations at all times to ensure prompt response to incoming calls and to ensure profitable calls are made.
Accurate sales administration to be achieved.
To constantly familiarise yourself with sales and marketing network to ensure proper business communication.
Awareness of competitors and there product offerings.
To be customer focused at all times and to offer assistance to all customers even if the query relates to another department.
To improve and develop telephonic and personal communication skills i.e. presentation skills, marketing tools, body language and attitude towards the customer and colleagues.
To ensure positive teamwork and peer relationships at all time. To follow proper communication channels when resolving or escalating queries.
Analytical thinking to identify the need of the customer as well as excellent decision making skills to apply to the relevant query or consultation.
To be PC literate and have experience in working of the Microsoft Office Programmes i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
To be actively involved in the CRM of your department and ensure customer satisfaction at all times
To be self-confident and stress tolerant and to portray a professional attitude at all times
To have a mentality that each individual has room for improvement and self-development
To be persuasive and assertive in dealings with customers and to use initiative in closing the deal
The consultant must have an outgoing personality, with patient and friendly attributes. To be mature in dealings with customers and colleagues being approachable
To ensure business ethics at all times.
To be honest and have integrity at all times respecting your peers and management.
To have excellent time keeping skills adhering to office hours and assisting after hours from time to time when needed.
Must have relevant Computer qualifications or experience (MS Windows, Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
Proficiency in Typing
Sales experience is an advantage
