Senior Aircon Technician

A market leader in the HVAC industry is looking to hire an experienced and professional aircon technician. You will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repairing of diverse air conditioning systems for a wide range of clients.

You must have a valid drivers license. Do not apply if you dont have a valid drivers license.

• Install, configure, and commission new air conditioning systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure they operate optimally and efficiently.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify mechanical and electrical issues within HVAC equipment.
• Conduct tests to evaluate system performance, identifying opportunities for enhancements to improve overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to devise innovative solutions for intricate HVAC and refrigeration challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, tasks completed, and components used during each assignment.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, trends, and best practices to continually enhance technical expertise.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining maintenance procedures, and providing expert guidance.
• Uphold safety standards and regulations to establish a secure work environment for both yourself and colleagues.

• 5+ years of proven experience as an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician or in a comparable role.
• Thorough understanding of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, encompassing diverse compressor types, condensers, evaporators, and control mechanisms.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical malfunctions associated with HVAC setups.
• Perform maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently
• Install and commission split units, cassettes, under-ceiling units, and ducted systems
• Exceptional aptitude for problem-solving, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating seamless interaction with clients and fellow team members.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
