About The Role

An established education and training institution is seeking an experienced

QCTO Tutor to facilitate and support learners enrolled in Procurement and Supply Chain qualifications and programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging learning experiences, developing educational content, assessing learner performance, and ensuring compliance with QCTO and quality assurance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitation & Learner Support

  • Plan and facilitate QCTO workshops and revision sessions.
  • Deliver engaging classroom, online, and hybrid learning experiences.
  • Lead learner groups in a structured and supportive manner.
  • Encourage participation, motivation, and academic success.
  • Coach, mentor, and support learners throughout their studies.

Assessment & Academic Administration

  • Assess assignments, projects, and learner submissions.
  • Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance.
  • Conduct and mark mock examinations.
  • Monitor learner progress and identify support interventions.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and academic documentation.

Learning Material Development

  • Develop, review, and manage learning materials for relevant programmes.
  • Design and deliver effective education and training interventions.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve learning content and delivery methods.

Examination & Revision Support

  • Coordinate revision workshops and examination preparation sessions.
  • Liaise with examination centres, facilitators, and invigilators.
  • Facilitate occasional evening, weekend, or virtual learning sessions where required.

Reporting & Quality Assurance

  • Attend quality assurance and academic meetings.
  • Maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
  • Review learner performance reports and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Conduct learner satisfaction surveys and analyse results.
  • Prepare academic performance and activity reports.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) – SAPICS.
  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) – SAPICS.
  • Membership with relevant professional bodies such as SAPICS, CIPS, or CILT.
  • Honours Degree, Master's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field will be advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience teaching professional or international qualifications.
  • Experience within higher education, training, or skills development environments.
  • Exposure to learnerships and occupational qualifications.
  • Experience in online, virtual, and blended learning environments.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics disciplines.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of QCTO requirements, accreditation processes, and quality assurance standards.
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to utilise learning technologies effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
