We are seeking a dynamic and proactive People Partnering professional to support the business in driving effective people practices, employee engagement, talent management, learning and development, and operational excellence across the organisation. The successful incumbent will partner with managers and employees to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Partner with management to support people initiatives aligned to business objectives.
- Provide support and guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Drive recruitment and onboarding activities in partnership with hiring managers.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives aligned to business and employee development needs.
- Manage Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) submissions in line with SETA and legislative requirements.
- Support performance management and employee development processes.
- Promote employee engagement, diversity, and a positive organisational culture.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and governance standards.
- Utilise SAP HR systems for HR administration, reporting, and employee data management.
- Manage and administer employee leave processes on SAGE 300.
- Support HR reporting, analytics, and people-related administration.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or People Partnering role.
- Experience in training and development and skills development facilitation.
- Experience with WSP and ATR submissions is essential.
- SAP HR systems experience is essential.
- Sound employee relations experience.
- Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, and related labour legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
