About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Admin Clerk for our Parts department in George. This role focuses on efficiently managing administrative tasks and supporting the operations of the parts division to ensure smooth workflows and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage incoming parts orders and returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory records and ensure proper documentation of parts transactions.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery and processing of parts.
  • Prepare daily reports on sales, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all administrative tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improved processes for efficiency in the Parts department.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a retail or automotive setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic accounting principles is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in a parts or inventory management role within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing customer communication and service.
