The Sales Engineer will be required to drive sales of Pragma’s engineering and asset management services by combining technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver practical, value-driven solutions.

Minimum Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or technical sales.
  • Experience in asset-intensive industries (mining, manufacturing, logistics, utilities).
  • Exposure to asset management practices or systems is advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for engineering-driven asset management services.
  • Engage with technical stakeholders to understand operational challenges.
  • Develop and present engineering-based solutions to improve asset reliability and performance.
  • Support the sales process with technical credibility and insight.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and consulting teams.
  • Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with plant, maintenance, and operations leadership.
  • Contribute to cross-selling of consulting and software solutions.
