POSITION INFO

What You Bring

  • Recognised qualification in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years management experience within a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant and event setting
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and fine dining service
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel operating systems including Opera PMS, Micros POS and EMS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good financial acumen and commercial awareness
  • High attention to detail and consistency in food, drink and service delivery
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage conflict and challenging situations with confidence and diplomacy
  • Flexible availability including weekends, public holidays and evenings

What You Will Do

  • Lead daily restaurant operations with a focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction
  • Foster a culture of continuous development, coaching and accountability within the team
  • Maintain consistency in food and beverage presentation, guest interaction and service delivery
  • Monitor staffing levels, scheduling and productivity to meet service demands and cost targets
  • Drive revenue, efficiency and guest retention initiatives
  • Manage inventory, ordering, stock control and cost management
  • Perform all required audits, daily banking checks and administration processes
  • Manage team performance, scheduling, training and performance evaluations
  • Facilitate disciplinary processes as required
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards
