Thorburn Security Solutions is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Contract Manager to lead a large Distribution Centre (DC) operation. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong operational, security, and people management expertise, capable of overseeing a workforce of 300+ employees in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Reporting to the Reporting Operations Manager, the Contract Manager is responsible for monitoring the security operations for a client. Implement security regulations and rules to ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors of the client.

Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and oversee end-to-end warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery excellence Lead, motivate, and manage a workforce of 300+ employees, including supervisors and team leaders Ensure effective labour management, including workforce planning, productivity monitoring, and cost control Oversee and enforce warehouse security management and risk mitigation processes Implement and manage risk management strategies to safeguard assets and operations Conduct and compile investigation reports on incidents, losses, or breaches Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and reduce operational costs Maintain compliance with health, safety, and security standards Manage time and attendance systems and ensure workforce accountability Conduct disciplinary processes, including chairing hearings and managing on-site discipline Build and maintain strong client relationships with Woolworths stakeholders Monitor, analyse, and report on operational performance

Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Proven experience in a Contract Manager / Senior Warehouse Management role
- Experience managing large teams (300+ employees) within a DC/warehouse environment
- Proven DC Warehouse experience in security management
- Strong background in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
- CIIMS Certification, Security Management Certification, or relevant higher qualification
- Valid Grade A PSIRA Certification
- Strong knowledge of labour management practices and time & attendance systems
- Proven ability in risk management and compiling investigation reports
- Demonstrated ability to chair disciplinary hearings and manage employee relations on-site
