Minimum Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, ensuring a positive and friendly shopping experience at all till points.
  • Accurately process all till transactions in accordance with company policies, including various payment methods.
  • Promote Woolworths loyalty programs and additional services such as utility bill payments and airtime sales.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised till area adhering to all shopkeeping disciplines.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy by carefully checking scanned items against shelf tickets and resolving discrepancies.
  • Minimise shrinkage by adhering to loss prevention procedures and promptly reporting any irregularities or suspicious activity.
  • Demonstrate basic product knowledge to assist customers and support promotional events and special store campaigns.
  • Remain calm and efficient under pressure, managing time effectively during busy periods to maintain smooth operations.
  • Exhibit honesty, reliability, and professionalism in all interactions, while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
  • Attend team meetings and comply with company policies regarding attendance, dress code, and hygiene standards.
