A well-established a national supplier of industrial chemicals is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of warehouse and yard operations at its Cape Town facility. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational management, stock control expertise, and the ability to drive efficiency, safety, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse and yard operations, including receiving, storage, packaging, dispatch, returns, and stock control
• Manage stock accuracy, reporting, and regular stock counts
• Supervise and develop warehouse staff to ensure productivity and accountability
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and PPE adherence
• Manage warehouse assets, forklifts, vehicles, and equipment maintenance
• Maintain warehouse facilities and housekeeping standards
• Monitor operational processes and implement workflow improvements
• Manage overtime, leave schedules, and team performance
• Maintain accurate documentation and operational reporting

Requirements

• Matric (essential)
• Previous Warehouse Management experience
• Strong knowledge of stock control and warehouse processes
• Experience leading warehouse teams
• Health & Safety awareness and compliance experience
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Computer literacy (Excel advantageous)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
